The Special Olympics

What an extreme joy and honor it was for the KVC volunteers of HOPE Worldwide to serve the athletes at the 2015 Special Olympics. The games bring together special needs athletes from around West Virginia to compete in events ranging from track & field to golf. It was an amazing event that serves an oft overlooked group and adds great value to their lives. As much as the volunteers gave, they were given to by the love and appreciation of the athletes and their families.
